Good things come to an end. The black and white skin complementing Beyonce's I Am... Sasha Fierce has had a nice run. But now it's time for GaGa's turn. However, don't forget.


It took me quite a while to finish the skin. If you face difficulty viewing the blog, or see error in the coding/visuals, please comment and I'll fix the bugs. :)

The new layout has a lot of changes. It's neater, more organized and definitely more readable. Here's a short guide on how to use the new skin. :D

On the sidebar, there's a section that kinda literally follows me around. Named, Paparazzi, this section basically is updated by my Twitter account and below that, what I've listened to recently, by Last.FM.

Twitter has become such a necessity because most time I would be too busy to update my blog, especially leading up to the school's reopening, I've been insanely busy with preparations for Regatta (kinda like a sports day but for poly students and there's dragon boat instead).

The latter part of the session, I just wanna let people know what I usually listen to, of course, looking at that list, I've been listening to the same music time and again. Hah.

For the comment section, nothing much has changed except that I would love to see more comments now that everything seems neater. Yeah. Bigger space for me to blog and a nice sidebar too.

However, people have faced several problems while commenting. The sidebar with all the comments are merely showing you recent comments. Its doesn't work like a tagboard where one just click-and-comment.

However, if you want to be linked, click on any of the messages and once the popup appears, feel free to just leave your name and link, (email encouraged) with a short message like, "hey would you like to exchange links?" and I will link you as soon as possible. I would appreciate it if you actually linked me first (muahahhaha) and if you have already linked me, simply leave a message. I'll get back on your blog and leave a message too. :)

If you want to leave a comment with relevance to a specific blog post, this is how you do it.


Here's an dummy entry. (actually, its not a dummy it's actually an actual post. HAH.)

I feel like I need to blog; mainly because my nights have ended late and you know I kinda dislike having to update early in the morning when my brain is fresh like a blank canvas. Oh swell.

I updated a lot of Twitter since Saturday and that's usually where I do quick updates of my life. Follow me?

Where do I start?

Ahh! Monday was supplementary paper for Computer Mathematics (CMaths) and it was freaking easy. I'm ecstatic, over the moon that I could do it. I knew it was the CAs that pulled down my final grade. I am confident that I'll pass it, but I don't wanna be too overconfident.

Of which, on Friday, it was reported on Twitter that I lost my eZlink card when I was out with See Kai. Haven't seen that dude in a long while and NS made him look different. :( But anyway, regarding my eZlink card, again, another story of blessing, lol, someone found my card on bus 27 and returned it to Hougang interchange. So after my CMaths supp paper, I went to get it.

But before that, I was out with Mel for lunch at Ikea, which was nice considering Ikea was empty.

Anyway, I'm really tired and have been gymming quite a lot. HAHA. Something's cooking but I don't want to flash out too many details because I don't want people to feel disappointed with me, so I'll just be working my ass off.

Work (the survey at the library thing) is over. Pay is coming in three to four weeks. I can't wait to get some new kicks, save up money and give some money to my parents! I'm a good son like that. HAHA. Maybe I should bring them out to eat instead.

Anyway, I think I'm failing OOPG. OMG. Its okay, I made a pact to myself that if I fail OOPG, I'll work harder to get a better grade thus bringing up my GPA. I hope.

I'll be blogging some issues in the upcoming days now that my exams are over. I'm working on a few t-shirt designs and I'm happy now. I really am. :D I need to work on some logo designs. YES I can't wait. MORE UPDATES ON NICKY 2.0!

Yesterday was wild. So if I get the photos, I shall do traditional 'blog-photostream' type of blog posts that I haven't done in a while! And a new layout is coming up. Hint: Its vector and features a Lady. HAH.

Oh, I'm still sick.

Yeah, today was the first day of Ramadan, and quite surprisingly, I made it thorough without any difficulty. I didn't feel any type of hunger or thirst. Well, I've sort of prepared myself for it, so I'm alright. I ate two meals a day prior to today and I kinda got used to it and made sure the night before I'd drink plenty of water.

The thing that really made me treasure today was that the whole family had dinner together and no one was absent. I guess after spending nights alone, I appreciate the whole family coming together to break the first night of fast together.

I'm on a new project, launching a new website and even though I think I'm underpaid, I still think I should give it my best because I will be putting my label on it, so why not right? I just hope my clients give me a bonus *hints and prays hard*

And as the poll suggests, the winner is for sure Luqman, but he insisted that the award be snowballed to someone else, and updates has shown the winner is ME! Snowball it on over, and the winner is Michelle's BeingZul.com.

She will get her Blogger/Friendster skin, though I hope she chooses the latter. Anyway, I will however not get PaperChase.com/.net/.org because its not availiable. Luqman has advised me not to buy one at all.

I know, I never really told anyone, but I made a new layout! I know, it was a surprise for me too! HEHE. I started work on Sunday, on the cartoon bit at the top and finished it today. I think the new layout is my best layout ever.

Goodbye flashing lights, hello bright, cheerful and colourful, that's what I need in my life right now!

So I decided to chop my hair off. Yes, but that was last Saturday. HAHA. I still haven't updated what happened last Saturday. Okay, I will do it soon. But I won't really show my hair. HAHAHA. It was only yesterday that I perfected the style but not today. It rained today and the rebonding went awry.

I went to Starbucks at Raffles City with Dominic to accompany him as he works hard (until he had migraine) on his next paper. Since I'm technically free, I decided to work on my new layout! :)

And while I'm happy now, to end of tonight's post...

I've officially moved on. I thank so much for the concern guys, but really I'm doing awesome now. I was hurt, but now I'm doing so much better. Thank you again.

The layout's finally gone! Since January 9th! Four months and six days later came a new layout! The delay was because... Well, one thing, I was very busy with school work. Two, I wanted to learn Dreamweaver (at least the basics) and use its power. Three, I got lazy and procastinated.

But now it's done! I'm loving what I'm seeing!

If you do have opinons on it, do list it out in the new comment system I'm using, Haloscan, since many had feedback that they wanted their opinions saved and that many complained they cannot continuously write long comments. Also! There is a new system by which you can rate how you like each post! Do rate today's post based on this layout!

I love the multi-layer background and stuff. It's really me.

Vocals, cameras and the skytrain - I spent most of my hours at work with Fatin (above) and I think today passed so fast like... Well, something really fast. I kinda like the atmosphere of the airport, and I'm planning to stay till the bitter end while the others leave, one by one, getting ready for polytechnic, national service or university.

I just need extra cash for polytechnic.

And when comes extra cash, comes shortage of pay.

I got my pay today and I believe it's almost $150 - $200 short. I calculated that its is projected I get around $850 - $900 but is lack thereof. I really want my pay. In full. And I want it now. I can't believe the people at the office have the nerve to call me and say, "You'll be in shortage, but just for a bit."

"Just for a bit? It's a lot okay. So when I'm getting the 'a lot'?"

"By next week."

"Eh, like this cannot you know. This is money, okay. I'm very unhappy."

"I understand, but you're not the only one."

"SO? I'm warning you. The airport guides are coming to get you today."

And he shut up. I'll try to be patient, but most of us airport guides (well, the teens at least) are coming down to main office tomorrow to demand pay. The aunties are at it this afternoon, they'll be earlier than is, so I hope by tomorrow 'traffic flow of airport guides bombarding the office' shall be smoother.

I have a million and one stories to tell and even this is incomplete. I think with this new experience, shall be a head start to reliving my dead series, "Confessions Of", only after my job is over, of course.

I also have another confession. I spent over $300 on disposable goods such as food and movies. I barely shopped so I should kill myself. I think I want to disconnect the connection of my ATM card to my savings. Then and only then can I truly reach my goal of $4000 in my savings account.

My shopping account is currently ZERO dollars and honestly, it's hard and tempting to use my savings - even though its for my future. I'm gonna work hard, perhaps a promotion to really save up for the future.

I should change my mindset. I should work to prepare my future and spend for my now; not just the latter. And I think I shall continue to work even when school starts considering the airport is rather close by.

Yes, I know, the beating of DONT-CHA's heart is slowing down, but I'm backdating a lot of entries. And I mean a lot, considering I have tomorrow as a day off. Check back for updates, love. (A new skin too!)

Change is fresh, as they say.

I've been contemplating on whether to change the comment system. Instead of using a tagboard, should I use Haloscan (comment system) to organize comments because some of my readers told me that tagging on a tagboard is lame because eventually, the reader's opinions get thrown away. However, some say that the Haloscan system is not widely used with those that blog casually. As in they might not know how to use it as easily as tagboards.

I'm still contemplating on whether to change, but I'm tilting towards Haloscan.

Another issue is branching the DONT-CHA franchise over at Youtube too. I was thinking of making webisodes, some of which I have skits and music videos while in others, I just sit down and have a chat to you, instead of writing down all my opinions.

It's the end of an era - full of controversies and what not, I loved this layout (and the blog posts that come along with it. Quite frankly, I love my new one. It's simple, and its something that I haven't done, real graphics editing. Oh I love me. :P

Oh let me switch my inner diva/divo off for a moment. The blogskin is inspired by the embedded song which talks about love making (not necessarily oompa-loompas cos with that you just do it promiscuously) and I find it soothing to listen to, the guitars, the echoes, that soulful voice of Beyonce - I just can't help myself but feel inspired every time when I listen to the song.

Or get slightly aroused. Oh, let's put that aside, shall we?

I apologise for not updating yesterday. Believe me, I wanted to - till my sister came back and totally locked herself in her room claiming she was doing 'work' when I caught her watching a season of Scrubs. Oh well, I'm back on now, ladies and gentlemen.

Today, I spent my day with BBFF (Hairul, if you all have forgotten) and it was great time spent. We caught up on stuff because even though we're really close, we still have our own lives to live. Distance between great friends do good for us, we bonded a lot today and quite frankly I had a great time.

We were chatting on the phone and trying to figure out what we can do to get our jobless assess some cash - we're talking about work, people. (and NO sexual innuendos, people, especially you, Luqman. LAWL.) Since I was 'banned' from the computer, Hairul did the research and we ended up with John Little, apparently, they're looking for kids to work at their Expo Sale.

We all know how much I hate Expo. Think Sitex.

Anyway, Hairul researched while I called the office. They directed me straight to the HR manager, Cynthia, and she gave us appointments, so technically, we didn't have to sign papers, go home and wait for the call then come back, we go straight to the important person.

Hairul and I met (and insert bonding moment here while waiting for our respective interview) and the interview with Cynthia was great! I actually had a good time talking to her, and she told me about the job at Expo, but I also asked about a position at one of the stores itself (rather than slogging away at Expo) and she said it wouldn't be a problem - so I hope she isn't just bringing me up to cut me down, but I'm really positive about this. She said that she does have an opening and that she asked the perfect place for me to have a store to work at. I said 'anywhere in town' and she replied, "Plaza Singapura?" My eyes literally lit up and I just said, "That'll be great!"

She told Hairul and I she would call us tomorrow (Thursday). I'm really positive about this. Oh, screw the job at Airport. I built so much hope within myself that when I didn't get it, I literally brawled at myself. It's alright. I hope this thing with John Little works out.

Just because of the running shoes, I've got a broke ass. (And that means I'm financially bankrupt, you perv. HAHAHAHA)

Today, I also gave Luqman a surprise visit at his workplace today (the Mac Shop at Funan) and it was slightly awkward because I've never really met him before so this was officially the first time. (Actually, we did meet last time but we were secondary two and he came back to visit BNSS after he left for another school. I was complaining to him about band and apparently he paid attention. These are all Luqman's claims, but I could've sworn I didn't know him.) Oh, things fall at the right places.

Regardless, I did have a good time today with Hairul and (I think) possibly there are some things that I still have yet to tell him, it's a matter of whether I want to or not because heh, its a heckload of shit in my mind (and no, its not _ girls and a ___. Please don't ask me what the blanks are.)

Earlier in the morning, I was helping Mummy with the dishes as she was cooking. As I was getting my clothes wet from all the splashing waters, Mum told me, "why don't you try nursing in poly?" Then she starting listing reasons one to ninety-nine good reasons why I should be in nursing. Although I agreed what she said was relevant, I couldn't pay attention to what she was saying. Then, after years (seriously) I finally voiced out, and said,

"Mum, I don't want to do nursing because it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life!"

I didn't scream, lol, but I did say it in the most polite way possible. She restrained herself from saying negative comments (she usually does that) and she turned to me and asked. "Well, then what do you want to do?"

I coyed away, saying, well, whispering, "engineering... or Media." The former was just something to test the waters. Media was my priority. She smiled, (for the first time) upon talking about media, "Oh like your late uncle?"

It's nothing negative, no. One of my late uncles was a deejay for Ria 89.7 (Well, I'm not sure if its Warna 94.2) but yeah. I guess Mum was finally open about the possibility of me choosing a media course for a career. I'm more optimistic now.

At least Mum now supports me. Well, I know she wants me to go for nursing - she knows there is security at the end of the tunnel even up till retrenchment. I like that and all but I don't want to be a nurse (not that I have anything against nurses, I'm open to the idea too but) because I'm not much a people person when it comes to medicating and I only care for the ones I love, not random people I see everyday. Well at least, not to the best of my abilities.

Like I said, I'm open to the idea of nursing.

However, I'm just glad Mum understands me more now. I hope she supports me when I get my results. It's getting to me. And the date has been confirmed.

As a preview for my next layout, that's what you get. It's more or less than a eye candy graphic treat. There's no models or human being I just wanted it to be sensual because it's pretty much (the song is) about baby making, if you know what I mean.

I've worked hard for the first skin for the new year. I got so fixated. All I know is that I needed a new layout. So I worked and I worked. I got three. Apparently, this is the latest and to me, the fact that it was so simple and with the explosive colours, I could feel its sensuality. Should be up one of these days. :D

Today has been crazy. Well, not in its entirety. I went out for lunch with Hazzy (That's Ms Hazimah to you, and I didn't eat because Mummy bought KFC so I restrained myself to eat in order not to gain weight) and it was fun, she and I got to catch up. :D She went to New Zealand and bought me gifts! LIKE OMG! :D



Ahh yes! Can I please say I love the shirt and the magazine? HAHA. But the magazine is hard to relate to because it's all about women's clothing. Like mad, okay. Plus it's all from New Zealand so hahaha. It's Beyonce. I think whenever Hazzy sees a magazine with Beyonce (especially if she's overseas) she'll get it for me. Siao. HAHA. Well everyone does that anyway.

And the t-shirt is a perfect fit. I love it.

Later in the afternoon, I went to Drama just to see how the kids are doing and I was a bit disappointed because there wasn't like a real rehearsal today. So, that was sad. I wanted to do real assistant director work, you know. Not just sit around waiting for things to happen but I did have a talk with the kids (for like a minute) but it was great.

I hope this year's musical will be a blast :D

After Drama, I went out with Presley to go meet Amber and Hamid for dinner at Banquet. I couldn't help but give a visit to my friend Dominic at work. HAHA. I sneaked from the back and just tapped his sides. Haha. He laughed and said, "don't scare me like that!"

Haha. So after that the five of us just went for dinner and it was a quick one. Dominic had to leave first because of work committment and the rest of us just walked around and I wanted to shop for a pair of running shoes. I got this.


I totally love it laa can? It's the new adiZero Mana and it cost me a ton! It costs $141 and it totally killed my DBS account laa okay! Now I'm broke but wearing this shoe (even just looking at it) inspires me to lose all the weight. So it's all good.

When we almost reached home, Hamid remembered he has a friend working at Royal Sporting House who could possibly give me 40% discount. How I wanted to kill Hamid there and then.

Still, I know it's worth the investment. I shall make it worth my money.

And you know what? Ever since I got the Rubik's Snake (and posted about it), people have been coming up to me and asking me to buy. HAHA. So far I have three orders. I think I should sell it at a profit. HEHE.

Oh and I'm starting a webdesigning (freelance) company by myself to support myself (of course) when I know I can't find a job. Tsk. Why aren't employers treating me like the gift that I am?! Total diva moment, but it's something I shared with Dominic. Long story. HAHA.

I need money for needs, apparently not wants. And I want a damn job at a CD shop.

I spent the last few moments of 2007 by myself (well after a call from my little brother, Ridhwan), reflecting about the stuff that I have been doing over the year and I guess whatever bad things that you have faced in the past year, you can only look back and learn from whatever that happened.

Today is not just a new day, it's a new year.

Time for a fresh and new perspective, a more optimistic attitude (I'm still a realist, nonetheless) and I just want to be happy, and quite frankly today was a great day. I spent the day at home and I just relaxed by myself and I thought of the good things that happened in my life amidst the bad.

I am loved. I know it.

I'm thankful for all the blessing God has put upon me. Even the bad moments. Still I can't thank God enough for everything He has done even the moments I feel like my face have been dragged over gravel.

Today was fresh - in a sense I didn't waste it (even though I pretty much did nothing), I didn't care about the things happening behind my back, I just focused on me. I focused on what's important at home - family. I spent the morning with my parents and the evening with my sister playing her very girly version of Monopoly which was all pink and honestly, I've never been so repulsive of pink before but I guess the most important thing was spending time with her.

So I guess today was productive - I spent time with my family. Tomorrow? I have plans. It should be up on my blog tomorrow. Haha. I'm spending every day of 2008 productively. If at anytime, a day in 2008 I don't do anything I should punish myself.

I do track back and read the promises I made to myself, to show that I am responsible enough to think and reflect. Making mistakes are useless unless you learn from them.

The last few days of 2007, I spent my days with my friends. With Amber, Hamid and Presley, Dominic and See Kai, all seperate but as you know, I can't blog about Amber, Hamid and Presley because they 'don't take photos'. HAHA. Yeah right.

On the 30th, I went out with See Kai. I had a great time with him. Met up at 5pm and we literally wasted our lives around Orchard road. See Kai, I love you and all, but bro! You're super indecisive. You know what he did?

HAHA. He wanted to buy shoelaces for his school shoes and it was only $1.90 and he told me he needed something to match his uniform. So I told him to get it. He thought about it and you know what. He actually took more than five minutes to contemplate whether to buy or not.

In the end, he didn't buy the shoelaces even though he wanted it. HAHA. And you know what he spent his money on?

TopMan.

HAHA. He spent I think less than $50 because apparently TopMan is having their year-end sale. I was kinda disappointed at myself for not buying something for myself despite the sale. I wanted to get a shirt at GAP but it's nett priced at $39.

I am glad however, that I saved up money because unexpectedly...

I got chosen to go for an interview at the airport as... Get this.

And the job requires me to guide the tourists here and there, everywhere they need to go, all that stuff and I think I'm gonna love the job.

What sucks is that I have to dress up for my interview and with the money I had left over (from disappointingly not treating myself to shop at TopMan) to buy the dress pant. The very next day, the last day of 2007, I went out with Dominic and shopped!


I had a great time with Dominic too. I went out with him for lunch at Parkway Parade after which he went job hunting and he was being so bxtchy about it (HAHA) saying that he has to fill so many blanks on the commutative vitae form (or resume) and I actually filled one of the forms for him, which was G2000 but I agreed though.

The form had so many freaking blanks.

Still, I had fun with Dominic. We then went to Marina Square and Suntec, for him to job hunt and it was just so crazy. I can't disclose what we did but it involves a shop, a resume and a very awkward situation. Don't worry Dom, I won't say a thing. It's just between us. HAHA!


After all that, we went over to Orchard to see a friend of mine, Derek perform. He was amazing and his showmanship is rather good and even though the CD skipped, he managed to get back on his feet which is quite commendable. Kudos, Derek. :D

Apparently he hasn't uploaded videos but when it's on, I'll let you guys know. (Random, but you guys should check Derek's blog. The way he put his images are somewhat simplistic and artistic, loves it!)

Dominic and I ended the day rather early because for the first time Dad's giving me a voluntary curfew (as in he gave me the timing) of 10pm but I appealed for 11pm. I thought of going to Presley's house for the New Year's Party. However, something told me to get back home. I thanked Dominic for spending the last day of the year with me. I had a great time

(and if he said otherwise or stay silent, I might have to slit his throat! HAHA.)

I did, and I spent the whole night online chatting with Derek. I got so hyper (don't ask me why, I was starving myself actually) and in one way or another, I did spend my new year with him. HAHA.


and if you read it properly (YES, THE IMAGE IS CLICKABLE), Derek's MSN subnick says... Listening to Zul - Gimme More which was so fxcking random. I told you, I got high and recorded using MSN. HAHA. The way my voice changed. It's crazy. HAHA.

And I'm glad in some crazy way even I can't understand, Derek said, 'YES GOOD' and 'i was really nodding my head'. Sarcasm or not, haha, thanks. :D

And I'm glad the song (stupidly funny) cheered Shahirah up from the drama she's facing. You guys, spread the love alright. :D VISIT HER! :D

Exactly. Last Friday was the 2nd Anniversary (edit, not third) for my blog, DONT-CHA! I can't believe I forgot and only recalled today. Since I was working, I hadn't prepared anything formal to say on DONT-CHA, unlike last year's post.

I don't really want to talk about my growth (or otherwise, for that matter) but I will say the growth of this blog. For the past two years, I've garnered a certain amount of loyal visitors who come to my blog everyday to be entertained, to read up on my life, to always know more. I know that with Dont-cha, I have to constantly keep my life as interesting as possible to keep entertaining more people, updating everyday. HAHA.

It's not a burden, really. I blog because I want to be heard, even if it's just a handful of visitors. I want to keep myself happy and live life, you know. Regardless the situation I'm in.

Tell you the truth, I'm not really happy with my life right now, but it's all good, I guess, in the long run. Honestly I am very sick of living my life for other people and I just want to live for me now.

I'm branching out my franchise, I'm starting a few blogs soon, I realise I can't stay on just Dont-cha and Solidified Pastures as my back-up. I'll open up an entertainment blogs on Singaporean TV and the shows all of us are watching and another, just a private blog, on a private location, just so that I can have a very explicit line to how much I can expose myself.

And of course, lots more stuff coming to Dont-cha too! Now that there's no more school and I don't have to think about amino acids nor angles in a semi-circle, my creative juices are starting to flow even more and my ideas seem to develop at a higher rate then before.

More reviews coming, including Bee Movie and Britney's latest album, Blackout, all scheduled to be published this week.

I will (duh) continue talking about personal life here but now school is over and I'm pretty much jobless, entertaining from my desktop is the way to go.

And there is a possibility of me starting a portfolio site with the availability to request for skins which people keep asking and I keep procrastinating.

All to just kill time.

In December, I will be going to Singapore Polytechnic (SP) for two weeks (or ten days, if you want to look at it that way) from 3rd to 14th December for a crash course on poly life. I had a dream about it last night. I was in Precision Engineering and I couldn't wait to get out. HAHA. If any SP students would like to make friends and possibly make the two weeks easier for me, call me. I'll be going with some of my friends there anyway, so this will be interesting.

It has been a month full of examinations, conflicts and many many other craptacular occurrences, I feel that it is appropriate for me to choose Britney as my new layout (number 27) and as you all know, her album is entitled, "Blackout" which is to blackout all the negativity in her life. I find it most appropriate that I do the same. Blackout all the bad things in my life.

I chose Freakshow as the title track for this layout because I feel that I need to breakout and just go have fun; do whatever the hell I want now that the examinations are over. I am super happy and I can freak off! HAHA.

The colour combinations of this blog is also something that I have never done before. Colours are bright, strong and very... LOUD! There are new stuffs as well, such as the transparent images, I loike that feature, and the intro music when you enter this blog! I LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

I'm sorry I didn't blog yesterday. Didn't prioritize my time well. Once Sis got back, she was all, "GET OFF! I NEED TO USE THE COMPUTER." Thus the early update today. HAHA.

I also went to the gym yesterday with Amber, Hamid and Presley and ran for 2 km. I know, it's not a lot. Though consider the fact that I have never run for 4 months? Ever since NAPFA test were over and done with? Yeah.

I went all MR. GRUMPY at the airport (we went there for dinner) when I was with them when Hamid called me mister tambourine. I was like, "&%^*$ YOU!" so I gave that stare and just kept to myself through out the night.

Even though I was angry at him, he still was there with me to be a friend. Aiya Hamid; forget it about yesterday.

You can imagine my child-like attitude popped out when I took the train from Tanah Merah to Changi Airport because I have never done so! I was so excited, like a little child, smiling from ear to ear like no one's business. I never knew the airport is so beautiful!

Considering the fact it has been more than seven years since I stepped into the airport. I remember the time when my late grandmother went to pilgrimage and we sent her in a limousine. I'll cry whenever somebody goes to pilgrimage.

Anyways, Hamid, I'm sorry for the whack attitude I portrayed last night.

Today was rather a long day. I was alone after prayers, waiting for Amber to get ready, meet him and head on to Parkway Parade to get some art supplies and to just chill. Hamid later joined us after his History paper.

Oh I heard it wasn't that bad.

Well anyways, I met my primary school friend, Zaki. It was (again) refreshing to see Eunos Primary kids after 5 years! (actually I met him before, but couldn't recall when) He was excited when he bumped into me, like okaylah, in primary school he was rather the closer ones to me. He always smiles though, never with a sad face.

Oh he has a cool do to.

I've been thinking about my do too. After the O levels is over, I need a total makeover. Seriously from head to toe. You'll see the transformation.

And I made a deal with Amber too. I can't really say what, but readers, stay faithful to my blog and eventually, you will know the deal. Then I can finally scream,


Well, I won't call my readers bitches, just the haters. Oh well, in the long run, its beneficial for me. Not them.

Anyways, the three of us (Amber, Hamid & I) had dinner at this Ayam Penyet place at around Marine Parade and it was nice. Amber blanjered because... Well, I didn't bring much cash. (Trust me, I was regretful earlier when I came into TopMan screaming, "OH GOD! I WISH I HAD MY MONEY!" Like seriously, why does this always happen when there's a SALE?) So we were eating and there was this guy sitting outside the restaurant, waiting for his food. His pose was like, 'oh-God-I'm-too-good-for-this-place' kind of pose and his fashion sense was awful. Certified Mat Rep. I tell you. Mat Reps are people who have no specific concept so they throw everything in like rojak.

After we were done for dinner, Amber decided that we should walk home. After thinking, I agreed, willingly. I needed to unwind from the craziness of the things I don't blog about (duh, it isn't very public) and Amber and Hamid were the perfect venue for me to unleash my frustrations. (Don't get me wrong, I don't angrily scream at them) but they really listen when I feel really really f8cked up.

They sent me all the way back to my house and we decided to chill at my front door (since it was late and they rather not come inside.) I served drinks and we just talked with the breeze and really was the best way to unwind, spending the day (and night) with your best friends.

Looking back, after the laughters and the screams of earlier tonight, I had a lot of fun with Amber and Hamid. Just as much fun as I had with my old friends. Difference was, Amber and Hamid was sincere. The old ones were fake and encouraged my flaws, one way or another. I rather not elaborate.

I'm happier now. And I'd rather be alone then be a sheep; to be told what to do, when to do it. Yes, I've changed. I've become more resilient. Yeah. That's the new me. Seriously, how you like me now, bitches. Regardless, bless your(y'all) souls.

P/S: I slightly altered the layout. I know, its getting too obvious, but I can't help it. I can't stare at a blog like that, right? You gotta pull the weeds out of the garden, I guess.

Can't a guy get a break?

School finishes late, almost up till six. Raya preparations are killing me and I can barely celebrate. The damn O levels should be pushed back to the original date like it was before.

And damn it. Why is it that for the past few years, Raya and O Level seem to come at the same time? Start at the same time, end at the same time. Is it merely coincidence or some kind of conspiracy to get us to flunk and get distracted?

Finally, my personal problems have been really making me sick in my head. I keep thinking the wrong things and the wrong time and I keep wondering off to space. Sometimes I find myself tearing up in class reminiscing about all those precious memories that pass by.

I am angry. Angry. Angry. I am mentally, emotionally and physically drained. I can't take it anymore. Once the O level is over and break starts, I'm going for a spa for a massage.

I don't care. I'm going for it.

Really. Anyone want to join? If not, just go chill at Sentosa. Or East Coast. Or Bedok Reservoir Park. Whichever floats your boat.

Bye Kelly, hope to see you later this year! Well, it's time for a new layout! This is longest time I've used a layout. Life, as you know is getting busier, and I'm just lucky to actually have time out to get a new layout going.

By the way, important information: The skin will take a longer time to load because...
1) It's a new skin, your computer hasn't cached it yet.
2) This is like the first time my blog is using all 300-dpi jpeg images, (that's just means it is of higher quality.)
3) There's a lot of scripts that played a part in the skin, so like I said, give it sometime.
4) It will look super hot on a 1024x768 screen. No more, no less.

I've decided to go and do a layout about friends and well, for myself in particular. It may be simple, (I actually wanted it that way) and I like it. It took me at most 6-7 hours to complete. Why did it take me so long? Basically because of an HTML tag, and it just delayed so much man hours.

I so love the animation at the header and the random phases that show a different one every single time about the blog posts. Its actually the best 10 phrases that were put on my blog lately. You want to see a new phrase every time? Come more often!

Another thing I love is the icons concept. It's very minimalist and I just got inspired after going to Gender's blog, the amount of 100x100 Gender has provided was enough for me to experiment using this icons concept.

I really love the white and wow. Loves it.

Today was a day full of boredom. It still hasn't sunk within me that preliminary examinations is this Monday. Though, I will be preparing a bit. Emphasize a bit.

I'm glad yesterday's essay received warming reviews, though I know it should be kicked up a notch. Regardless, I'm glad you people are open-minded enough to read something... GHEY. LOL.

Today was a long day. Ahmad made plans for all of us to go biking at East Coast Park (ECP). So we all met up at the bus stop at school and went to meet others at the Marine Parade library. Those going were Ahmad, Akmal, Adan, Danish, Hamid, Firdaus and I. (This Firdaus is [I think] the 4th Firdaus I known.) We went to go rent bikes for 4 hours for $7 which I think is quite high considering that there's a shop that charges per day at $5, but I guess we were all too lazy to find it.


At first I thought we were just gonna go around ECP, enjoy the environment. But when we met Vincent and Pil, the plans started to change. "Let's go to Marina Square!" someone shouted. I was in awe, is that even possible I thought.


So I just felt like, "You know what, you're here already, go all the way," and that's what I did. So we biked all the way up to this place, if I'm not wrong, it's around Tanjong Rhu and it was scary because now, it started with the roads and I'm not used to this kind of routes and such crazyness, but I just decided to give it try and just enjoy - without getting caught in an accident, of course.

So we cycled all the way, and it felt weird (really did!) because all these were construction sites and such should be avoided, and the fact that I was biking on roads made the adrenaline pump because it was like, "cycle properly or get hit by a fast moving vehicle" and every second as I rode the bicycle, I kept saying, "being fast is not always best"


Then we reached Kallang, on the bridge approaching the Indoor Stadium. We took a few minutes break as we were all getting tired, but the spirit to reach our goal was still existent.


We were riding around Kallang and quickly we went to Nicoll Highway and frankly, this is the worst part of the day because the path, it was noisy. It was unbalanced, like those longkang covers and it kept making a lot of noise, but Ahmad insisted that I just chill when I'm here.




One quick turn and it was already Esplanade! I didn't know it was so near to ECP! (I mean, with car, it obviously is near but on a bike? No no!)



Finally, it was time for LUNCH! We ate at McDonalds at Marina Square and frankly, riding the big ass slope is very tiring. I just pushed my bicycle up. Really is a pain in the ass.



After lunch, we decided it was time to return to ECP to return the bicycles. Since everyone already knew their way around, everyone took turns taking the lead, including yours truly, and frankly, the adrenaline wasn't as high as before, but knowing that I know the route in and out made me feel very comfortable.



It was already six and it was getting late for the most of us. Adan, Hamid, Akmal, Shazli and Danish headed for home while the rest chilled there. On the bus, of course, camwhoring session as per usual!

Now as I sit in front of my computer, I have two complaints. My leg hurts and my ass hurts even more. Firdaus has uploaded the other pictures! ENJOY!
