Zulkarnain Sadali. I'm nineteen but I tend to forget so I unknowingly tell people I'm eighteen. Ridiculous, I know. I'm a rockstar in between the sets, no eyeliner and cigarettes. Life is magical, but its not so fantastic. Oh.
A student in Temasek Polytechnic's IIT School, majoring in Interactive Media Informatics, (IMI) with intentions of making it in the Media industry, a far cry from anything in IT. But I'm open to its possibilities.
I like to leave a little mystery in everything I type, and certain times I do not like to be obvious. I rather speak in tounges and cryptically because that's how I roll. But I always stand by my beliefs.
Just like Hannah Montana, I get the best of both worlds. I like fun but I don't mix anything together. Except when socialising though. Anything goes.
I'm a good boy, most of the times. Of course I shan't deny. I can be a real devil.
I repeat, I stand by my beliefs. If you don't like it, then you should put a red X on it.

Sand, Tan and Friends! Yep! After the Week Zero camp, the IIT School (along with the new batch of Freshmen) joined forces and took over Pahlawan Beach! It was UH-MAY-ZING! I think I have so many children now. HAHA.
YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT IN HQ. So what do you think? IIT school isn't small, huh! We're an amazing bunch, no?
So now that we've reached Sentosa...
TIME TO SABO SOME PEOPLE AND THROW THEM INTO SEA!
In the sea, we sat in a circle and played games. Losers had to do a forfeit. The game is that everyone must say a number, if at any point in time someone says the same number at the same time, then they have to do a forfeit. In this case...
This was never the way I planned. Not my intention! (NAME THAT TUNE!) I had to do that with a few guys while kissing some girls on their cheeks.
It was fun. HAHA.
It's time to TAN!
OK. I know that's not the most flattering of all photos of me, but I find it cute and funny. And while tanning, Desmond and Jamie decided to drop by.
HAHA. I was already really tanned. Proof?
And this photo is LOOOOOOOOOOONG before the first of the tanning set. HAHA. I was one of the hardcore tanners, lah please.
I swear, everyone was in love with my straw hat (lovingly bought by Amirul!)
Why? Because Atiqah (that hot chick right there, whom I also stole a couple of pictures from) 'stole it'.
I had to steal this photo. Look at the background (apart from her stealing my hat) Fill in the blank: The people in the back are ______________.
Coburn was spotted wearing the hat too.
Ahmad, Sky and Coburn. And I swear I'm gonna miss these seniors of mine who pushed me like mad during the Dragon Boat training. They're an awesome bunch, SRSLY.
Ready? Let's go. HAHA (See how enthu I was? Even brought out my SPIDERMAN picnic mat.)
After that, the whole day was done, my C241 freshies that actually stayed all the way, Bryan and Jun Xiang had dinner with me and Cheryl and the rest of the IITSC gang that stayed at Vivo. Peep the pics!
Nicholas and Bryan, second row with Cheryl, Thomas, Me and Jun Xiang!
Yes, I am IN LOVE with Thomas. NOT. HAHAHAHA. No, I'm really not!
Act cute? No! WE ARE CUTE!
You watched the video, you know how rare he smiles. I swear I was excited when he smiled for this photo. Mr. Ang, you are a mystery! HAHA.
and one with Little Miss Cheryl herself. <3
I'm really glad I have awesome friends and freshies within IIT school. :) And thanks to Nicholas, Atiqah and Cheryl for the images.

Let go and hang yourself.
Jump off and forget your inhibitions.
Or just sit and reflect about the future.
Especially when you have a friend that's crazy enough to back you up.
ALL THE WAY UP A HILL.
I soompah I had to drag Bo and Michelle up the hill. I wanted to see the Henderson Ridge ever since I saw it on the news, even more when Hairul told me about it and showed off his photos and I freaked when Luqman told me he was going with his classmates.
I really wanted to see and gosh! I was in AWE! I wanna go back there at night. I have to.
Bo and I trekked all the way, from one forest to another, all the up Mount Faber, and walk, walk walk. Michelle, who followed, stopped halfway and didn't want to continue the trek with us because A) she was lazy B) she had work
AND MICHELLE CABBED DOWN FROM MT. FABER TO VIVO! GAH!
But we visited her after the trek at VivoCity (where she was working) and we had tea/tinner/dea/dinner and it was great afterwhich we chilled at her shop and it was damn fun. HAH! We took loads of photos but its with Bo, but so far that's it.
Oh, I don't recommend you going to Henderson Waves unless you know the way, its the weekend and its not hot, not at noon.
But I did have fun. HAH!
AND A LOT OF PHOTOS, but the stupid camera I rented from the school does not cooperate with Macky. Damn.
(PhotograpHer, because for every 9 of of 10 photos she took, it was her face.)
NOBODY by The Wonder Girls! Check the awesome video out, its inspired by Dreamgirls, but its ever so original. And yes, they are my new obsession!
I'm all tired out from F1 and constantly surveying people. But that didn't stop me from spending my day with Dominic. He asked me out early in the morning in search of a job. I didn't really care much for jobs, I can barely maintain my schedule... But again, I digress.
The sky was cloudless and the heat was giving me a stroke. My painstakingly straightened fringe was hard to maintain, considering the heat was making me sweat and it affected the hair. BAHH.
I met Dom at my bus stop and we hopped on bus 5. Dom and I were covered in sweat; yes, the heat was that bad. We stood up initially but attacked for seats. Damn that white guy for taking "our" seats. Allegedly.
We got off at Far East Plaza and walked around Orchard. I actually got us lost. The construction at the train station and the ever-changing direction of exits confused me. I was literally in knots to the point we got the wrong exit.
Eventually we reached the malls, Wisma and Taka, but decided to pass because it was a little to uppity for his taste, I guess. We continued to walk at soon reached The Heeren. I suggested Dom to take a look at NewUrbanMale considering his built body, they would hire him just for entering the store, but apparently you need to apply online. Ohh they gets technological.
We eventually reached Billabong, and Dom had to fill in forms. URGH, that boy. I filled his form up for him because his handwriting was, easily put, t'was a doctor's. And my handwriting is neater. Tsk.
Well, without realising, it began to rain but luckily we decided to catch a bus to our next destination, Plaza Singapura. Dom needed the bank and he had to buy a set of cymbals, crashes and hi-hats. Drummers, you know what I mean, right?
At Yamaha, it was so awesome. Dom took hours to make up his mind, so I played with the keyboards, the hi-hats and the Latin Percussions. I had a mad time, pretending to speak in some foreign accent, "JAMAICAN ME CRAZY!" (Did you get that line?)
Eventually, about hours later, Dom eventually made up his mind and I was delighted. I was in a celebratory mood, so I decided to pose with an electric guitar. And yes, it was working and no, I didn't create noise. Well, at least not THAT much noise.
Just some pretentious pseudo guitar strumming.
I absolutely love this shot. Friendster, it will go.
Wahh! It's like a rockstar under the super trouper lights!
When we were finally done with our purchases, we decided to head down for dinner. We were torn between Swensen's and Secret Recipe. I really wanted Swensen's because its been quite sometime since my last ice cream.
When we eventually got comfortable with our seats, Dom began to look very uncomfortable.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I kinda miss Secret Recipe," he weakly said, reminiscing the cakes we always chowed down.
"So why didn't you tell me that when we were outside?!"
We eventually packed our things and left. Indeed I missed the cakes as well. Eventually our food came and you can actually refer to our old photos of Secret Recipe. (Go to the search function, if you bother, lol.)
Again, pre-dinner jitters. We also had our first kurma, or dates. Those dried up grapes. Yeah, tasted like raisins. I didn't know it ws that nice!
My Chocolate Indulgence. :)
Dom's easily mistaken-for-earth, Almond Choclate
Our cakes, as usual, we delicious. Once done, we headed for a special store...
DAISO! and again, I went nuts.
Dom and I soon concluded our night with a train ride he unwillingly accepted, (because I had train consession and he had the bus) and we took the bus home.
Did I mention Dom spent... A very high amount on the cymbals, crash and hi-hat? Rolling high, this time, he paid for dinner. Happiness.
Dominic, Aini, Faiz and I, clockwise, went out for a movie, loitering, disturbing the peace and dinner. I was superbly excited because I tried a new look but stayed true to myself. I took out a tie randomly and it felt good to wear it. Plus I actually had fringe for the whole night. HAHA.
MAMMA MIA WAS AWESOME! My feet beat the floor following the beats to the song I remember hearing since I was young. The movie was moving and I just had a great time watching it. Quality stuff, loves it majorly.
Amanda, who plays Sofie, who also played Karen (the dumb one) from Mean Girls surprised everyone. She has so much talent and she is the talent to beat. I totally couldn't see the dumb girl she potrayed in the last movie.
After the movie, the four of us paraded around town, of course, with yours truly leading the camwhore session. I feel loved with this people around. HAHA.
I hate that stupid white stain laa. It's so irritating. All because I was brushing my teeth and bam. Toothpaste landed on my shirt. Thanks. LOL.
Faiz's leg looks amputated. This is so candid.
I have no clue why, but this boy can never take a candid shot without that face. So does that make it a candid shot?
I don't know why, but I like this photo.
Somehow, we walked around, in and out of shopping malls, and when we passed by Paragon, I spotted some of my colleagues, and I stopped to chat with some of them, however, there was a tourist taking photos of them. I asked him if he was attending the F1 later this weekend and apparently he was. Then the unthinkable happened.
"Don't go. Just wait," he said.
I was like, "uhh, okay." I had no clue. When he was done taking photos of my colleagues, he took a few shots of me. I was so flattered.
HAHA. Well, that was a hilarious moment for me, oh well.
You have no idea. We went up and down the escalator to get the perfect shot. HAH.
We eventually reached Far East Plaza (Faiz, lol) and Faiz shopped like mad. He went to stores and bought this and that. Lol, okay not to that extent but after the movie, he bought a pair of flip-flops, then he bought a shirt, then after dinner he bought a (what do you call a guy's) necklace.
We settled for an Indonesian restaurant for dinner and it was nice. You know, Ayam Penyet and stuff like that. Nice.
The editing's a little over the top, but the lighting was just too bad. Plus, my eyebags look like a mess.
Ahh yes, pre-dinner jitters.
And praise the heavens, no overrated food pictorials. HAHA. Peep this photo. I call it my "Lookbook" moment.
Rock it or drop it?
Chey. Yes, the short goes with everything and the belt is put on the side. Regardless, I still like the look. :D I got the 'affirmation stares' from the random passers-by.
Aini & Dom posing for the camera.
From the sideline.
Please don't make me explain their faces.
Dominic got cut off laa. :S
I look like a scheming bitch.
Eventually after so much walking around, the four of us decided to go get some gelato! :D I shared with Dom while Aini shared with Faiz. We got the Belgium Chocolate and Hazelnut while they got the Ferrero Roche.
Aini tries to steal our ice cream. HAHA.
Them at the revelation of how delicious ours was.
Dom always scoops the gelato from my spoon... I have no idea why, but he's messed up. HAHA.
RAWR!
I'll take my leave as I need rest. I have even more training for work tomorrow! :)
Oh at NewUrbanMale Orchard Cineleisure, there was a Malay guy, and he said to Faiz... "Here at Cineleisure, it's like Chinatown and over at the Heeren outlet, it's like Kampung Glam."
This Boy's Friday

9:33 pm
Thankfully, my Friday wasn't wasted to a day of meeting. It only lasted for a while, but I was late because I was going to spend the day with Dominic.
We watched, "Bangkok Dangerous", which was supposed to be Dom's treat, but I decided to take the bill. (Oh I took a lot of bills today HAHA). The movie was great, but had a predictable heroic deed, but somewhat a twisted ending.
Can somebody say 3.5/5?
So then we went to Pasir Ris Park...
...TO CYCLE :D
It was a very... impulsive desicion, but I love cycling and it has been years since I've gotten on a bicycle! The one at the gym doens't count. HAHA. Well, it was fun, and good to know I was still able to give my all cycling.
And I'm so happy to say, I can cycle with one hand on my phone to camwhore and take photos! :D
Dom trying to speed, but I ended up front most of the time :X
I gave my all to cycle. We cycled from one end of Pasir Ris Park, then towards the other end, went back and cycled in and out Downtown East and in and out the chalets as well. It was fun, but once I got off the bike...
MY ASS WAS IN PAIN!
And so were my legs. I felt really weak. Then when we reached Ehub to get ready for dinner, I felt even worst, nausea-like symptoms, but I have to hold on because I was still fasting. We got to the restaurant early, and we just rested there first.
My mind was pounding, but I was alright enough to wait.
We went to eat at...
(I don't wanna bother typing it out cos I can't even pronounce it, but Dom was ready posing, and sometimes he was just looking like a fool because he expects me to take photos of him. Well, I do that too so... LOL)
The service there was something new, even though the staff was so wonderful (and by wonderful, they came by our table 1000 times before and after order).
Why I say the service there was something new because...
We had to use a computer to make our orders! It was fun playing around, and thankfully, our orders were right. Oh, and you know what? If you wanted to call the waiters, you need not raise your hand, just click "Waiter Attention" and one will come running towards your table.
Awesome.
We ordered quite a lot, since it was Korean BBQ a la Seoul Garden, we had a la carte too. The only difference between Fresh Bulggogi and Seoul Garden is that you pay for what you eat, so there's no way you can over eat. Free refills on drinks (PLAIN WATER ONLY), but yeah.
Dom's Deep Fried Chicken Cutlet Bep (I have no idea what's bep)
My Beef Bulggogi
Getting things started. It was a whole new experience eating here, and it was really amazing. Our cooked food was amazing and so was the ones we had to cook ourselves. It's a place I really recommend to anyone who would want to eat Korean food but don't want to pay too much for Seoul Garden.
Dinner was about $60. I didn't really mind because I had a really good time with Dom today.
Tomorrow I am part of the Carvivor Rally by Power98. I'm so excited! :D I'll be stationed somewhere at Mount Sophia. I hope me and my crew won't get lost tomorrow!
