Ladies and gentlemen, its that time of the year! Advertisements run high and money generate the economy at its peak in the December period because it's CHRISTMAS!


For me, I am not celebrating, however, the usual receiving part is still at large, I hope. And since I don't get my share of Christmas goodies, added to that, it is less than 2 months away from my birthday (I am overlooking the period of which I get my O level results) and with this advanced list, EVERYBODY can plan ahead of time what to get me for my birthday this coming February.

Self-centered bxtch? Most definitely. Blatant as hell? Forever.

Just like last year, I've set up a list of the things I want/need for Christmas. This year's list, I shall keep it to just material things because the other part will come - soon. I like this list. I got two out of seven things I really wanted (one of which was material) last year.

With this list, I'm hoping that I will get more than two things however I'm not asking for a lot this time round. Trust me. This year's list is seriously more of a need than a want as compared to last year. I'm not being a bxtch, I'm just being honest.

Yet, I know that getting what you want for Christmas isn't important. It is what you give. So this Christmas (or my birthday) the thing that really matters to not just me, but everybody is that WHAT YOU GIVE ME! HAHA.

I'm being a bxtch, I know.

As you all know, I can be the song-writer. So it goes without saying that I need a guitar to write tunes. Acapellas are nice but when too much... Yeah. I also need someone to teach me how to play the guitar. I love the guitar, I think it's pure and stripped - just like some of the love-fest song I write.

If I don't get the guitar, that's fine. I can use my dad's guitar when he was a teenager like me. He passed it down on to me and I think it would make him proud to see me finally belt out tunes with his old guitar.

Who knows, I may actually pay the bills with the guitar and my songs.

NEED/WANT: Guitar; want. Teacher; need.


Every one knows I'm the super camwhorer but main reason I want this is that some moments are too precious and well, after snapping a photo with a polaroid, I wanna paste it up straight away on my notice board.

It's moments captured by the polaroid that I feel is more precious - because there's only one of the polaroid, and nothing else. The limitation, ironically is the treasure. I don't need this because I can still take great pictures with my phone, but having a polaroid is like a fantasy for me.

NEED/WANT?: Want.



Like I've mentioned many many times my computer is dying. And I need to store my precious images and files in to this external hard disk.

What's worst above it all is that I used to sell it at Sitex. Yes, that's right. And for 320GB, it was sold at a mere $129! Super cheap, right? I don't really care about the size. It's big and heavy, but I don't really care. I really need to store my space in this hard disk.

I think this thing has more space than my current computer has! And I'm not kidding. My computer only has a total of 142GB. The external hard disk has DOUBLE.

NEED/WANT?: I think we all can safely conclude this is a NEED.


We all know my desktop is dying. This is (one of) my ultimate fantasies. If I get a new desktop and it's the iMac, I'm happy.

Really. Plus, I always wanted a big ass screen just to enjoy watching movies and just go crazy with the computer, and not necessarily with oompa-loompas, okay! The iMac is also good because I can edit videos, songs etcetera with total ease.

Plus the fact that Apple rocks way more than Windows. I heard it processes faster than Windows and is literally virus-free. Total loves.

NEED/WANT?: Want. For desktops, I think I can honestly settle for less.


Almost the same as the previous wish, but only portable. I kinda need this to prepare myself for polytechnic and to use it at my own time. Sharing the desktop with sis kills me sometimes.

Same reasons for the iMac, the Macbook Pro packs a punch, literally, because... I love it.

NEED/WANT?: Need. I need it for privacy sake and for goodness sake, MEDIA, DAMN IT. :D


I need a damn new phone, and apparently, the iPhone will be out in Singapore sometime in 2008. (As in officially in stores, not those you get at Sim Lim Square.) I need this as an mp4 player, camera and phone - with built in web browsers for those times I can't blog.

If I can't get the Macbook Pro, this is the best alternative - like I said, I can blog whenever I go. Built in with WiFi, this is seriously my ultimate love.

Another thing I love about the iPhone is the iPod within the phone. Ah. I'll elaborate only when I get it I guess.

NEED/WANT?: Need. I think I listed sufficient reasons why I need it. Blog anywhere, for goodness sake! Plus its an iPod, a phone and camera. ALL IN ONE LAA BABE.


Yes, my latest obsession, ironically is (I'm sure) the cheapest of the lot. I fell in love with the Rubik's Snake the love turned to orgasm. I got too excited with my first ever Rubik's Snake and the wires snapped.

Sad. I was almost in tears because I made a ball, which I figured out by myself. I really hope to get the Rubik's Snake because it apparently develops creativity in the mind.

Before the Rubik's Snake died, Razif made a heart out of it and I made a cat and a dog. How come it's only when I broke the Rubik's Snake that I learned more shapes?

NEED/WANT?: Need. Everybody's on their Rubik's Cube. As you know me, I'm always going for the alternative. I just need to find this damn snake. HAHA.

I'm done. This list will be a yearly thing from now on. And just like tradition, here's my favourite scene from my favourite movie, Mean Bxtches.
