The image's blur because... Well, just because. Our other image together was also in similar condition. Blur. And Wen Hao's not the one to take photos, thus I appreciate a blur one.
He is my friend Wen Hao. He always pisses me off. He pokes fun at me about my weight, my intelligence and most irritatingly of all... He pokes fun at me being me.
But that's the thing that I love most about him. I have no idea why, but I'm never angry when he makes fun of me because I know he doesn't mean it. Though slowly I've started to rethink that idea. Hah.
He's leaving Singapore later, 12.30am, and I'm gonna miss him a hell lot. Even though I haven't seen him over a year, him leaving Singapore is like a confirmation that I won't be able to see him for a year.
"This is my last chance to see you before you leave. I don't care," in a message I sent to him.
I went all the way to Dover to meet him.
But I couldn't come empty-handed.
I thought of so many gift ideas for him. He was very fond of the Rubik's Cube, and then it hit me. I should do a hybrid!
And to the drawing board I went.
(If you are clueless to what a Rubik's Cube is, this is it.)
STEP 1: With FreeHand, I laid out the images as tiles...
And read if you want, my letter to him. And yes, that's you, Geri! (can you even read it, btw?)
STEP 2: Go print it on GLOSSY sticker paper. Cost about $2 for an A4 size.
STEP 3: Cut each group first.
STEP 4: Cut each individual tiles and place them in an orderly manner before pasting.

STEP 5: Paste lovingly. Mainly because if you buy a cheap cube, the coloured tiles (that are pasted for you) are not pasted properly.
STEP 6: Do all the sides...
and WALLAH! Its complete!
When I passed the cube to him, I said, "MEMORISE. QUICK." So he did, (I think) and then I grabbed the cube back and shuffled it so that he can solve it. Plus I didn't want him to read the letter side with me there. Shy laa.

He later smsed me, "Solved. More difficult lah." and he's damn expert at Rubik's. Trust me.

2008 has been a year of constant change. New friends, new environment but still the same old me. I'm still the same person despite the rapid change; contacting old friends and balancing with the new.
With all this, I still wonder, is there more to everything that I've accomplished this year? Should I look back and think about the things that I didn't accomplish?
One thing that I am happy to say is that I did not end the year unhappy (unlike last year with all the fights and cattiness amongst the boys, yes boys being catty.) and I end this year with a smile on my face because most of the things that I wanted this year happened for me.
Now I wanna talk about something I didn't really talk about: What I'm tired of.
I am tired of seeing 'X' on my clothes tag. I did manage to lose weight within the year but I wanna lose more. I've worked my way this year, tomorrow onwards, I'm working. HARD. Mainly because I don't want to look around me and think, "heck, that could be me."
I want to look around me and think, "heck, I look better than you."
I am tired of seeing Ds on my report card. Though realistically speaking one of the subjects that I'm currently taking has already a failing grade waiting for me, I need to start working hard on my other subjects and modules. I'm already halfway there, I'm an active student.
I just need to have active shown on my report card as well.
I'm tired of feeling like I'm not living life. It might seem like I'm enjoying but there's always a part of me that just wants to go crazy and not go home at nice. Truth be told I am very protected, overprotected sometimes. I live life, yes, but not a crazy one.
I just want to be able to be me. Fun and crazy. The latter of which, I've yet to accomplish.
I didn't want to go out tonight. I thought it'd be nice to skip the whole countdown thing and just chill at home. Besides I already shopped with my family earlier today. I did want to watch the fireworks but there's always another time.
I just don't want to make it seem like tomorrow would be more special than the day before. That would just make me lazier.
Ultimately, I don't want to set resolutions. Luqman's right. If you set resolutions and at the end of the year you don't accomplish it, you'll feel like shit. Or something like that, he said. I just want to list down the things I'm tired of and find a solution for it.
There's one thing I want to accomplish, under Resolutions. I want to widen my circle of friendship.
I've been happier in 2008. I want to be happier in 2009. I think with all these things I'm tired of improved, I think I'll be fine.
And as a treat, this year, I won't be showing you guys my favourite scene from Mean Girls, but a special video by Destiny's Child!
EDIT: I had to rush, because I accidentally hit save while I was editing the new layout. I miss my old layout already. It was the best ever vector design ever.

First of all, I would like to apologise the delay in updating about my Heroes season premiere party last Friday, 31st October 2008, hosted by StarHub and Star World. It was really an awesome night for my bestest best friend forever (or BBFF), Hairul and I. There were free food, villainous cheerleaders, silly tattoo airbrushing and an opportunity to... "Be A Villain."
Which was awesome because it was also Halloween that day!
HALLOWEEN IS A GOOD REASON TO LOOK FUGLY AND BE OKAY WITH IT. :D (so there better be no, "you look fugly" comments. ESPECIALLY COMING FROM YOU, LUQMAN. or else no GarageBand stuff.)
OH AND GUESS MY CHARACTER AND WHO I WAS DRESSED UP AS. MUAHAHHAAHHAHAHA.
There were makeup artists there to give us a quick makeover though Hairul opted for the tattoo instead. It looks nice, no?
Somehow he looks a lot like Peter Petrelli. HAHA
Hairul had a chance to take photos with these scary cheerleaders. I swear they look too scary. What happened to spirit and ra-ra?
Okay guess, which Heroes character was I? (yes, my hair is a mess.)
So Heroes 3 has finally hit our shores, well, for most of you all, it will premiere on your television screen tomorrow. I won't give too much away, but why I can tell you is that the cheerleader must learn to save herself.
Season 3 promises to be the best season (just like how Obama will be the best US president yet) but unknowingly to many viewers, season 3 will be divided to two volumes, Volumes 3: Villians, and Volume 4: Fugitives.
Volume 3 started with a sneak peek at the end of season 2, with Sylar saying, "I'm BAAAAAAACK", reminiscent of a horror movie as he recovers after injecting himself with Claire's blood. (Claire can recover.) Kinda makes me wonder, with Sylar getting Claire's blood, is he infected with HIV/AIDS?
We were treated to two episodes and it was amazing. One of the highlight was the revealation of who killed Nathan Petrelli at the end of Season 2. Who did it? One clue: Someone close to him. Really close. Though I have to say it was predictable, it was quite unexpected as well. Contradiction, I know.
If you actually saw the adverts/promo shots on Star World recently, you would've seen Claire (with black hair) holding a gun, and saying, "I always loved you, Peter." Oooh, it's as good as The Hills or Gossip Girl.
And one more clue from the future episodes that I can say... Sylar will learn to control his hunger for more "knowledge" and someone will gain his knowledge, with the inability to control it. Also, Claire becomes more independent, but will she regret it?
Niki Sanders died towards the end of Season 2... Or did she?
Love lives strong in the future of mind reader, Matt Parkman with a new character that's introduced in Villians. Before that, he ends up in the middle of Africa, meeting Usutu, the African version of Issac Mandez (the painter that can paint the future) and well, let's just say, it gets pretty exhausting.
Friendship is one the line as Hiro travel to the future and sees his best friend, Ando... Well, let's just say, electric ABU-GEN* and... Hiro being electrocuted to death. *you know, like Street Fighter? When Ryu attacks and some special power comes out from his hands... MUAHAHHA.
Hiro will have a new nemesis, Angela Petrelli has a surprise for everyone, someone who was not able to die will actually die and more importantly...
IS THERE A VILLIAN WHO IS WORST THAN SYLAR?
Villians promises a lot of twists, and especially the question. Will your hero be a villian and will your most hated villian be a hero?
There will be another company. PineHearst, aside from The Company.
The question is, which side will you choose? Or better yet, whose side will you choose?

Oh happy day! Oh happy day! He will start official presidential work on 21st January 2009 before Bush ends his eight-year term. Good riddance!

Today, I celebrated this girl's birthday with two of her other friends. That's right! I celebrated my adik's birthday with Hairul and Aini! YEAH! It was super fun! We ate at Seoul Garden @ Tampines Mall, sponsored by the working woman herself. It's been a long time since I had so much fun with Grace!

Then night fell and we kept reminiscing about the old times and the fun we used to have. We laughed so loudly, we couldn't give a damn what our neighbours think. We were just four friends that haven't met together as one big group for nearly a year (Grace haven't met us in centuries) and it was honestly refreshing.
We decided to use Macky to preserve the moment.
We had to use Macky because all our phones recorded lousy quality. LAWL. Not on the video though. Only moments after I cut the camera off.
Grace: My present leh? Me: WAIT LAA!
LAWWWWWWWWL. PWNED!
She did strangled me when I said her birthday was on Monday though.

We finished dinner at about 9.30PM, so we had a 3 hour long dinner. Fantastic. Though I didn't over eat, I know I was really full. HAHA. After eating, we decided to chill at the Open Plaza and take some photos there. They're really a nice bunch.
